Hello there! My name is Jawni Han (she/her), and I’m a writer, filmmaker, and translator (Korean<—>English) originally from Seoul, now based in Brooklyn, New York. Nice to meet you :-) Here, you can check out my (mostly film-related) writing and translation I’ve produced over the years.

As a critic, my primary areas of expertise are Korean and East Asian cinemas, experimental films, and the relationship between politics and cinematic forms. Occasionally, I write about things other than movies: namely, fashion and music.
